Key Responsibilities

1) ROW Acquisition & Compliance:

• Lead & manage ROW (Right of Way) acquisition process for telecom infrastructure projects.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory & statutory guidelines for ROW permissions.

• Develop strategies for cost optimization & faster approval processes.

2) Government & Stakeholder Liaison:

• Act as liaison between Core/Circle team & Local Government bodies to mitigate risks related to project rollout & deployment.

• Address & resolve escalations related to ROW issues in timely manner.

3) Documentation & Compliance Management:

• Ensure proper documentation of ROW applications, including Service Line Diagrams (SLD) & other required permits.

• Maintain accurate records of all approvals, agreements & regulatory clearances.

4) Co-ordination with Internal Team:

• Identify & remove bottlenecks in approval process to accelerate fiber rollout.

• Provide regular reports on ROW status, risks & mitigation plans to senior management. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Fiber Deployment Execution:

• Supervise end-to-end fiber deployment activities, including trenching, cable laying, splicing, and testing.
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations before project initiation.
• Ensure adherence to fiber deployment standards, including route planning and network design.
• Monitor work progress to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

2. Technical Coordination & Quality Assurance:

• Coordinate with field teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of fiber rollout.
• Conduct fiber link testing (OTDR, LSPM) to verify signal strength, connectivity, and network integrity.
• Ensure proper splicing and termination of fiber cables as per industry best practices.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize service disruptions and optimize network reliability.

3. Vendor & Material Management:

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of fiber optic cables, passive network elements, and other deployment materials.
• Ensure material availability at project sites and track inventory usage.
• Evaluate vendor performance and report any non-compliance or delays to the Area Lead.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all fiber deployment activities adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including route maps, fiber splicing records, and as-built drawings.
• Provide regular reports on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to the Area Lead.

The position requires strong project monitoring skills to ensure timely delivery, minimize service disruptions, and support reliable network rollout.

Work closely with field teams, vendors, and project managers to streamline deployment.                            

Align project timelines with the Circle Lead’s directives and ensure timely execution.

Reporting & Compliance:                            

Provide regular updates and reports on project status to the Circle Lead.                            

Maintain adherence to industry standards and deployment best practices.                            

Ensure quality control and minimize network disruptions.
